I've been thinking about making a site like this for a while, as my grandma has dementia and i want to know how other people deal with having a relative/ friend with dementia and how they feel. I find it really hard going to see her as i don't know what to say. Like when she starts talking about something, saying she wants to go home when she is home. It upsets me to see her like this because she used to be really organised and knew everything and everyone and when she cries for her mum. If anyone who visits this site as been a relative/fiend to anyone with dementia i'd like to know how you coped and what to say...please email me if your willing to share your stories and how you dealt/coped with it, i'd be really greatful.
